Description
Garden Vetch is a sprawling annual winter weed, originating in Europe. It is commonly used as a cover crop because it can fix nitrogen in the soil.
Leaves
The leaves are stipulate, alternate and compound, each made up of 3–8 opposite pairs of oblong, needle-tipped leaflets up to 1.4 in long. Each compound leaf ends in a branched tendril.
